Why is Craftsman garagedoor opener inside control blinking & remotes not working?
Question by William A: Why is Craftsman garagedoor opener inside control blinking & remotes not working?
1994 Sears Craftsman 1/2 HP Garagedoor opener
Unit appears to be getting signal from remotes (blinking on back of unit) but no response from unit. Control inside garage is working but blinking. Something was stuck under door (about 2-3 inches high). Problem started after that. I did cut off power on the panel but blinking continues. ANY HELP??? Is there a way to reset this???

Try new batteries or new remote

some models have a reset button on the ceiling motor unit.
Occasionally they forget the security code. To reset it you push the button on the back of the motor then press the remote control button that you want to operate the door.
The other possible problem could be that something is blocking the floor sensor beam.
ok unit is locked out. you should have a three button wall control. one to open and close one to turn light on and off, and one that says lock. Press and hold lock button for five to ten seconds and release. Light on button should go solid. If you have doorbell style button you will need to get deluxe button to unlock. check out liftmaster.com or chamberlin.com. if need any help feel free to email
