Garage Door Code Not Working…?

Okay the remotes placed in both our cars work fine but when I am walking our dogs around and try to enter the code in the little box on the side of our garage it wil not work. I have the top (of the code box) all the way up and I`m sure this is the right code…what`s wrong?

Check batteries. Those do have batteries.
